CROP Walk

For several years, First Church has proudly provided the step-off point for the annual Johnson County CROP walk. The CROP Walk benefits Church World Service, targeting the issue of world hunger.  25% of the funds raised in Johnson County  go to support our local Food Pantry.  If you would like to be a walker or learn more about the walk, contact John Gentry.

 

The 2010 CROP Hunger Walk will be on Sunday, October 10. 2010 (10-10-10) Our walk begins and ends in the FUMC parking lot.  Registration begins at 2:30, with Step-Off at 3:00.   Join us as a walker or, if you can't walk with us, be sure to sponsor one of First Church's many walkers.
